Brief
The Design of Comfort exhibition is a collaboration between FIT’s Spatial Experience Design program and Squishable. It includes 9 themed Squishable exhibits each installed and designed by a group of Spatial Experience Design students. The exhibit took place in the FIT Art and Design Gallery in Manhattan, and was open to the public for two weeks during spring of 2024.

The exhibit took place in the FIT Art and Design Gallery in Manhattan, and was open to the public for two weeks during spring of 2024.
Tire tracks printed with vinyl were applied to provide a path to the exhibit which led to a make-believe pick-up truck where visitors were able to sit on to take a photo as if they were a part of the Squishable world. Handcut foam core cut outs of apples and corn Squishable characters are attached with magnets and contain cute uplifting puns and messages on the back when picked.
